We believe that recovery is not simply controlling symptoms or complying with mental health treatment. Instead, recovery means that consumers learn to move beyond their illness to pursue a personally meaningful life. Our specialized treatment programs will support and empower patients to define and achieve their individual goals. Our counseling and therapy sessions will serve as tools for individuals to help them manage their emotions and mental wellbeing. We will assist our clients in dealing with negative emotions and thoughts by helping them to accept their flaws and imperfections as part of being human. Our goal is to help individuals develop self-acceptance, self-compassion, a self-confidence, and spiritual connection.

The founder, Desiree Guyton, is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Masters of Arts in Counseling (2008) and a Masters of Divinity from Biblical Theological Seminary (2004)
