Hello I am a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT), I believe therapy is a collaborative and supportive space where you can explore your experiences, identify patterns, and create meaningful change. I earned my degree from the University of Massachusetts and bring a compassionate, client-centered approach to working with individuals and families. My goal is to meet you where you are, listen without judgment, and help you better understand the stories and experiences that have shaped your life. My approach is grounded in Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Narrative Therapy helps clients separate themselves from the challenges they face and explore new, more empowering perspectives about their lives, while CBT focuses on recognizing and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. Together, these approaches can help you develop greater self-awareness, build practical coping skills, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with your values and goals.
I value the opportunity to work with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, identities, and life experiences. I understand that each person’s story is shaped by their relationships, community, culture, and experiences, and I strive to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel respected, heard, and understood. I approach each individual with curiosity and openness, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing and personal growth. I also have a strong interest in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma and are navigating its lasting impact on their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and sense of self. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and focused on creating a sense of safety and trust throughout the therapeutic process. Together, we can work at a pace that feels comfortable while developing healthy coping strategies, exploring patterns that may have developed as a result of past experiences, and building toward greater confidence, resilience, and hope for the future. Thank you for taking the time to read my bio.
