Dr. Philip Monroe, PsyD
Dr. Philip Monroe, PsyD is a licensed psychologist with more than three decades of clinical experience specializing in trauma recovery, anxiety, marital distress, and sexual addictions. He earned his doctorate from Wheaton College Graduate School and completed theological training at Westminster Theological Seminary.
For 18 years, Dr. Monroe served as Chair of the Graduate School of Counseling at Missio Seminary, where he founded the MA in Counseling program and co-founded the Global Trauma Recovery Institute (GTRI) to train international caregivers. He currently leads Langberg, Monroe & Associates in Jenkintown, PA, and provides ongoing clinical leadership to the Trauma Healing Institute at the American Bible Society, mentoring a global community of over 20,000 facilitators across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and the United States
