              Private Practice Clients

              • Assess patients through detailed conversations, interviews, and observations to determine the appropriate testing or examination.

              • Informing prospective clients about pertinent financial and emotional commitments
              • Provide targeting counseling designed to help the individual overcome their problems

              Intensive In Community 

              • Provide in-home/community counseling (IIC) to children/adolescents.
              • Provide support counseling and psychoeducation to individuals and family.
              • Attend IIC (ISP) treatment team meetings either virtually or in person.
              • Complete IIC notes within 72 hours of the visit

                    Behavior Assistant (South Jersey local)

                    The Behavior Assistant provides a variety of therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and young adults.

                    Responsibilities include:

                    • Providing behavior intervention services to children and adolescents in their homes and communities in Gloucester and Atlantic County.
                    • Delivering one-on-one skill-building interventions to clients.
                    • Offering support and psycho-education to individuals and families.
                    • Implementing individualized treatment plans developed by Master’s level clinicians.
                    • Utilizing behavioral interventions and management techniques.
                    • Documenting all activities in the HQCV reporting system.
                    • Completing time logs and progress reports accurately.
                    • Maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
                    • Ensuring punctuality for scheduled sessions and communicating any delays to families.
                    • Participating in monthly virtual staff meetings.
                    • Reporting emergencies or concerns to the supervisor promptly.

                    Requirements:

                    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
                    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field.
                    • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with youth experiencing mental and/or behavioral health challenges.
                    • Possession of a valid driver’s license and registered vehicle.
                    • Willingness to travel as needed.

                          We are committed to mentoring new or upcoming therapists. We believe that our expertise and experience can educate and strengthen others as they develop counseling style. We utilize the following modalities: cognitive behavior therapy, Narrative, Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Mindfulness, Somatic Experience informed (coming), EMDR (in training), and Polyvagal informed.

                          ACS supervision fee is $75 an hour. Free to staff.
